Even Sunnier Sunday and An Award

Hi all,

Well today has been positively BOILING!! The sun was out and not a cloud in the sky. According to the weather schmucks the heavens will open again on Tuesday and more torrential rain will abound with risks of flooding. Fortunatley for me I live quite high up and we have never yet suffered from flooding. Quite a few of the roads out of town flooded after Fridays downpour but we are safe and sound (Thanks to all who enquired)
Our thoughts and prayers do go out to those who have suffered from the floods in this country and to the families of those who have been killed.. and of course to all overseas who are suffering at the hands of the hurricanes.

It was far too hot today for our usual long ramble. I wasn't complaining though, a nice spot in the shade and lots of cool water suited me fine!

Not much to report from today, It has been how Sundays should be.. Lazy!

Mum had swollen glands for a couple of weeks (which have now gone down) but she can't shake of the stinky cold. She sounds so funny when she talks.. all stuffy nosed and croaky. She says it won't go away because she is constantly tramping backwards and forwards to the kids schools in the rain and that the two days she didn't have to go out it stayed sunny!.. she is convinced the rain will flow again from tomorrow when she has to resume the school runs... cross your fingers it won't.. Mum is grumpy when she is sick!

Huge thanks to Huffle who gave me this lovely award for posing nekkid during Meeshka's week of 100.

Sorry about the rain - I think it is the leftover 'wrath' of that Hanna Montana chikhk!!

I saw the sad news about Rosco on several of the blogs - let's hope he gets better -

Hi Ben!

If your folks have any questions about the BARF diet, tell them to feel free to ask my humans all about it. They spent months researching it before actually getting started and are happy to lend a hand.

In the mean time, we highly recommend joining the Yahoo! Group called K9Nutrition. The owner (Lew Olson) is an expert on dog nutrition specializing in raw diets and is also a breeder of rotties. www.onibasu.com is a great way to research old K9Nutrition posts about the subject.

Our sidebar also has lots of helpful websites and links to our posts on various subjects. We strongly recommend you get your research in if you decide to try it, as there are numerious nutrition points you've got to hit to be a healthy pup. It can be overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it all it's easy-peasy feasting.

It's really turned our lives around and we hope if you decide to take the raw plunge, that it will do the same for you!

Hi Ben,
Thank you for all your support during these last two weeks, and your kind words about T-man. I really miss my little guy. I don't know how I would have gotten through these difficult days without the help of my DWB friends.

Thanks again,
T-man's mom, CC-man and T-man Angel

Hello, Ben! Thank you so much for the award--it's our first! :) We love it, especially because it comes from a dog so deserving of it himself!

Thanks for visiting our blog, we love seeing your handsome face!

It sounds like my kind of weather over there.

I'm so glad to see you back and blogging again! I was worried about you!

Before I forget I wanted to tell you that we have a rescue rottie named Kahlua in my training class! She has toy aggression, but I love to play with her anyway...she reminds me of you and George!!!

You can send some of your rain my way! It's pretty hot here man!

Hope your mom's nose gets better soon! It's never good to have a sick nose!

Slurp!

Do you know my mom is a nutcase and likes the rain. She says it's because she grew up in Oregon. I think it's like I said because she's a nutcase. Hope it doesn't rain on your mom and she can shake her cold.

Congrats on the cool award, Ben!
We've had nothin' but chilly temps (which I happen to love!) and RAIN (which I could care less about) lately. Mom said something about feeling like she was back in Belgium, whatever that means.
Hope your mom feels better!

Hi Ben,

It's been a while since we visited, so we spent a little time reading some of your older posts. That Nekkid one caught our Mom's attention -- hope she doesn't get any ideas about posing us that way!!!

And yeah, we have no idea when JH's real birthday is -- so he just gets one cake, one toy, etc. Actually, Mom has discovered that even if she gets us two toys -- one for each of us -- JH isn't happy until he gets both of them and I wind up with none -- so she just gives us one. Pretty stingy, huh?

Hope the rain doesn't last!!

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the award! Thanks for thinking of me.
I think that is a good idea to have you come and talk to PooPoo in the bathroom for a week....maybe she would shape up. But then maybe she might have heard me say you were a big softy and would not obey you either!
Hope you don't boil too much!

Hiya Ben thanks for this. :)

I forgot to say on my last comment that anything that remotely resembles either a husky or a GSD or something of both would be a top pal.

Wouldn't cause you any problems, would just sleep all the time, apart from when chasing away CATS.
