HAPPY ST GEORGE'S DAY

HAPPY ST GEORGE'S DAY

Happy St Georges Day

To all my British pals a Very Happy St Georges Day.

Oh and yesterday was Earth Day.. I did my bit by conserving the Earth's water supply... I went to the park and peed up every tree... Mum was not amused at my efforts... I'm a dog.. what did she want me to do??

Mum is partially recovered (in that she looks human again) so I have been let off the doggy doctor duties for a little while. I demanded a little time to catch up on everyones posts.. which will probably take me the rest of the week!..so bear with me!
She didn't have a cold (thank doG.. being sneezed on is NO fun) She has a cyst in her eye which made her eye and face swell up so she looked like a cross between Shrek and the elephant man. The human doctor gave her some eye drops and some antibiotics.. and the antibiotics made her sick. She says you have to get sick to get better, which made NO sense to me at all.. but she looks normal again (well as normal as she ever looks) so i guess all this toilet worshipping IS making her better.. in some wierd human way!

Mum says thank you for all the get well wishes.. they really cheered her up... try not to cheer her up *too* much though, she hasn't been singing while she has been ill and whilst I do want her to get well.. the singing isn't something that I will welcome back!!

Mum being ill was bad news for the economy too, she hasn't been slurping the usual copius amounts of Latte so coffee producers of the world are probably experiencing a huge slump in sales.. just to reassure... she will no doubt make up for it when she is fully recovered!!

anyway.. enough about her.. she has had quite enough attention from me this week!!

A package came for me at the weekend, I was so excited. I ripped it open and... it was a bandana!! Now I don't mean to sound ungrateful.. but I can think of about a zillion better things that could have been in there! Take note Mum.. treats and toys are good.. silly things to dress me in are bad! Here I am looking suitably disgusted!

I think I will start a petition for BETTER and MORE INTERESTING gifts!!

Hi Ben You are a good dogtor to get your mum better so quickly.
I am thinking I like your bandana take no notice of those that mock.
If I get one I would like red with my name on, I think It would go nice against my white coat.
I thought that we could swish them round and rob a bank but our names all over would be a dead give away.
I have watched the cowboy films and John Wayne was no wimp and he had one he said (The hell I am)
Even the once president of USA had one when he played a cowboy.

Ben,
You look a little ticked off in that last picture! But I see your bandana has your name on it. That's pretty cool. And it's all camoflage and masculine looking too.

So glad mum is feeling better!!

Pee S: That is a super cool pic of the dragon slayer!

Nooooooo! I don't want a pink bandana. Girl's name and girl's bandana. Ohhh. I couldn't possibly go out chasing cats like that. What a horrid pal you are to think of such nasty ideas.

Mistress liked the dragon picture by the way. But as you've realised I was too busy admiring your handsome profile and debonair gear to mention that.

At least it wasn't a "girly" bandana, Ben. Camo is pretty tough looking. Great job taking care of your mom.

That'll do Donkay, that'll do.

Oh, Ben, you look so handsome in the bandanna! Can you believe it, I got back from the groomers and-NO BANDANNA! That's okay, though, they probably didn't give me one because my cone is in the way...

Be thankful that you get gifts in the mail! I've gotten one or two things from my exboyfriend, Boomer, and New Year's gifts from my human Uncle, but that's it! :D

Love, licks, and happy thoughts for you!

Tell your mum i'm glad she is feeling soo much better, but ails said she should still rest up more. Why don't you use your bandanna to cover your face for when your mum sneezes on you again lol.

Dear Ben: I'm really glad your mum is feeling better. My Mom has itchy watery eyes and now she's worried about ....you know...what you said. She's making an appt with the dogtor to make it go away. I told her it was just springtime allergies but she's all worried anyway.

You are the very first boyfriend I've ever had. Mom says "But he's a ROTTWEILER", and I just huff and say "I don't CARE, I LOVE him!". Everydoggy knows that Puppy Love knows no boundaries. Like "Rrromeo and Chewliet"??

May I post a picture of you on my blog? Mom says I have to ask pawmission first.

Gosh....and you all the way across the pond and me here. Like, what's the heck she getting all worried about, hummmmmmmm????

Yours truly and forever....
