Heavy Heart

Well today I intended to play catch up and fill you in on my eventful week and the holiday weekend.. but having just read the news about my beautiful friend Tasha's passing to the bridge I am just heavy hearted and extremely sad. The trivia of my week can wait, I would like, instead, to pay tribute to a very beautiful girl.

Tasha.

September 1997 ~ May 24th 2008

A silent tear rolls down my cheek
My memories are all i have to keep
My friend's final journey has been made
but my memories of her will never fade

Safe in my heart is a wonderful place,
My memories of Tasha and her beautiful face
I've filled it with love and it's there to stay,
Till we meet Sweet Tasha, at the bridge someday.

Mum, Dad, Mollie, Lilli and myself would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies, love and support to Doug, Vicky and darling Eva at this time.

So hard to lose a friend, if they have had a good life.
Then that is okay, and we must think of the happy times.
Great poem

So sad to say goodbye to good friends. I know Tasha will be welcomed at the Rainbow Bridge by many who know her from blogland, too. - such a young dog to go, but when the Bridge calls, we must not wait.

love & licks,
Charlie

That is a beautiful tribute to our darling girl. We thank you for honoring our girl and for your kind words.

I sorry that we didn't see it before today. Momma hasn't been visiting a lot of blogs lately but I've clawed her until she agreed that it's time.

Thanks again,
Eva

We didn't know Tasha but it's obvious that she wasn't just beautiful on the outside, but on the inside too. We know too well the hurt that such a loss can cause. We'll think of Tasha when we howl at the moon tonight. The backward DOG will take good care of Tasha. All Dogs Go To Heaven.
